KITE SURFING

A kitesurfing session combines windsurfing, wakeboarding, paragliding, and surfing. This is a relatively new sport, as 1997 marks the beginning of commercial kiteboarding, but within a short period of time, it gained a large following throughout the world.
Velika Plaza has become one of the key surfing destinations in Europe since 2000 when Montenegro welcomed its first surfers. A large number of sunny days a year combined with the wind blowing makes Velika Plaza an ideal place for this sport.
Velika Plaza is a part of an ideal kiteboarding scenario as it offers sunny, cloudless days with constant side-shore winds. Kitesurfers use the force of the wind to surf the kiteboard, which serves as their sail. Kiteboards range in size from 5 to 20 meters and are attached to the driver with a trapeze that is worn around the waist. It is a misconception that kitesurfing does not require special physical preparation or knowledge of other surf disciplines. While strength isn't necessary, you should learn how to keep your balance, go with the wind, and ride the waves. Once learned, this sport is impossible to forget. Everyone who has been involved in this sport for several years agrees that it is very entertaining.
Each tour is tailored to the client's needs. Here are our three package options:
• BASIC PACKAGE: kitesurfing with all the necessary equipment
• MEDIUM PACKAGE 1: a combination of the basic package and a meal
• FULL PACKAGE: a combination of the basic package, meals and accommodation
Important information:
• All the tours are arranged with our instructors;
• The maximum number of passengers per kitesurf is 1+ the instructor;
The maximum number of kitesurfs we can provide is 5;
• There is a possibility of organizing a kite with a combination of the following activities: yachting, cruising, jet ski, parasailing, horseback riding, visits to local households and wineries;
• All clients are insured during the program
Kitesurfing equipment includes belts, gloves, and helmets.
