SKI RESORT SAVIN KUK

Ski resort "Savin kuk", is located at a distance of 6 kilometers from the town of Zabljak, the only urban settlement in the Balkans at an altitude of 1,450 meters, and one of the most prominent tourist destinations in the country.

In the Savin kuk complex on Durmitor, there are two 2-seater lifts and three ski lifts, including a night skiing lift and a children's lift. In one hour, the cable cars can transport approximately 3,000 skiers along these 5 kilometers of ski trails. During the winter season, two cable cars are in operation, the lower two-seater cable car (Savin kuk I) that ascends to an altitude of 1,907 meters above sea level and the upper two-seater cable car (Savin kuk II) that reaches an altitude of 2,213 meters above sea level. The trail is 5.5 kilometers long, beginning at the foot of Durmitor, and is intended for alpine skiing. There are two restaurants at the foot of the ski center, "Durmitorsko sijelo" and "Montana," as well as a coffee bar.
